| Yeah since no one really uses these things, I'm not going to waste my time updating it anymore.
Just thought I' put that out there.
Peace. | | |
| Mom woke me up at about a quarter to nine to say that Grandma was in the hospital. She had a heart attack late last night and Grandpa brought her in.
So we spent most of the day up there. She had to go in and get a surgery done. A stint put into an artery in her heart to unclog a... well clog. That was on the side of her heart. There is also one on the back so they are going to let her rest (she hasn't slept well the past few days and hasn't been feeling that good either) and then put the other stint in on Monday.
She's got Dr. Black as her Doc (one of the guys Dad and I work for) and also Dr. Bailey by chance because our in hospital physician isn't around today (we work for Doc Bailey too). Two awesome doctors there. Anyhow, they said that the strength of her heart beating is only at 40 and it's supposed to be at around 50 or 55 so they are hoping the stints will get it up to where it needs to be.
So far, so good.
When Josh and Danielle came in to the waiting room, Danielle calls mom away. I found this very suspicious. And then the nurse comes in to have Grandpa talk to the nurse that's in with Grandma. So as we all walk over there to talk to her and stuff, I walk over to Danielle, I ask her why she's pulling my mom aside and of course she says the last thing I'd ever think of.
She's pregnant.
Her home pregnancy test wasn't very dark so she went down and got some blood work done and it's official. She's about a week pregnant. Haha. Josh is pretty floored. He's worried about money, sure, but I don't think Mom understands the magnitude of it. She thinks that's all he's worried about but he did talk to me about how he asked Dad when he knew he was ready to have kids. Josh said he was basically scared shitless and the fact that this sorta knocked him in the nuts, so to speak, has probably really got him just wowed to no ends.
| Well, I have come to bring the obligatory January 1st post before it's no longer January 1st.
I've rung in the New Years with VMars. I actually lost track of time until my brother called to wish us happy new year. It was as uneventful as ever. I like to ring in my new year with tv... at least this time there were no commercials.
Well, I'm still fuzzy as to what the beginning of Season 3 was all about. Maybe I should watch the reruns and see if it makes more sense. Season 2 highlights would be more Logan and less Duncan. Ugh, I hate that guy. He's such a drag character-wise. I'm glad he's been sacked.
Anyhoo, Happy 2007 everyone. :D
[ETA: Or my lame-o Xanga will say it's the 2nd already when it's not. EH? Oh wells.]
| Have a kick-ass Christmas, everyone. I hope you spend lots of time with lots of family and get super bored watching old movies that your grandparents put on TV. No awesome video games for you to play, just old westerns while grandma cooks the ham and/or turkey!
Anyway, seriously, have a good time, and have a rocking New Year. Don't blow off any fingers messing with fireworks. They are cool, but don't hold them.
Oh and I like cheese. This has been an update by Sarah A. She is so totally tired now. Peace out.
| | Currently Watching The Devil Wears Prada (Widescreen Edition) By Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Adrian Grenier, Tracie Thoms, Rich Sommer, Simon Baker, Daniel Sunjata, Jimena Hoyos, Rebecca Mader, Tibor Feldman, Stephanie Szostak, David Marshall Grant, James Naughton, Colleen Dengel, Suzanne Dengel, Eric Seltzer, David Callegati, Alexie Gilmore see related | So Part I of my Calc final down, and Part II to go tomorrow. And then I'll be done with the semester. I'm hoping beyond hope that I don't fail. I will take a D with graciousness, though I wouldn't mind a C. I'd be grateful for a C. In my other classes, two A's and a B. Yeah, you can tell where my weakness lies.
Anyhoo, next week, well actually this weekend, my grandparents get here from Montana. Rock on! I'm excited to have some time to spend with my family, have a wonderful Christmas and hopefully some good time with my girls. (I'm even getting a little of that in this week before the family gets in, with some movie time and maybe a girls night, now that school will be officially DONE, WOOHOO).
My jaw hurts. I feel like it got knocked out of line or something. WTF? That is weird.
Well, considering how scared I was going into my Calc final, after taking the multiple choice part, I don't feel as bad. Sure the open response part will be a bit more difficult, but I dunno. I'm not as worried as I expected to be. I'm sure there will be one or two I might not be able to do, but for the most part I know what I'm doing so I'm pretty content with that. We'll see how it reflects on my grade though, considering I never did any of the quizing online like I was supposed to. Well, I did do one.
So, nothing much besides that. My puppy Tucker is kind of a punk. I'm trying to kick it out of him, but it's hard when he's just a puppy and he's smaller than everything else around him. I can understand his concern. But i hope he doesn't stay a brat forever. He's too cute to be a bratface.
Hope that's a good update for you. I know I don't update here often, that's mostly cos, well, I hate Xanga. But yes, feel fulfilled now.
